It is all a matter of what can be afforded at what time. It is the whingeing "I can't afford to buy in Praharan or Carlton or Elwood" crowd that get to me.
Go out to Naree Warren for F's Sake!!! We all started somewhere. It is the expectation that somehow I should be able to have it all now that gets to me.
It doesn't matter what we do or the government does, market forces will determine it all for us. Good old supply and demand.
If too few people can afford the asking prices then either asking prices will fall or sales will fall. If people keep paying the asking prices then it will go on.
I also get tired of the posters who do not post what they think will happen but what they HOPE will happen.
Well keep hoping and keep waiting and good luck to the lot of you. Me, I will buy another property whenever I can afford or when I can get around to it and most likey I will go to my grave still holding them and then my kids can do what they want with them.
