Time to revisit Gillette....  We know it is a work program....  The 7th work plan...  Almost 2yrs to the date OBJ announced this to the market... What is the potential for OBJ here....  BY summarise it nicely....

Comprises the multi-billion dollar global brands Gillette, Fusion and Mach 3. Assuming a license will feature these brands, and in particular the Gillette products, this Work Plan presents enormous value to OBJ, as Procter & Gamble controls 70% of the global blades and razors market. Gillette leads these markets globally and as of May 2015, Forbes has estimated that Gillette ranks as the 26th most valuable brand in the world.

With P&G under attack in the shaving game by Unilever and market share heading south by losing 5% of the playing field over the past 3yrs, alarm bells would be ringing in head office!!

Gillette is still losing market share to rivals, but P&G has a plan to get growth back on track.

OBJ stated in its recent shareholder update under the P&G program  the following:

• Work also continues for the preparation for the launch of the third product featuring OBJ’s micro array technology. This is forecast to commence during the fourth quarter of 2017. The fourth licensed product is expected to be launched during 2018.

What is the tip that the fourth licensed product is Gillette based?  Given the development has been underway for 2yrs, P&G Gillette brand is hurting with market share losses and a rapid need to plug the bleeding.  This is a classic fast track project I would speculate in my opinion.

If the fourth licensed product is Gillette in 2018, I do not think we will need to wait 200 days for a SP movement and base it on revenue.  If this comes to fruition, the market will realise the enormity and will factor in a leading SP value.
