Interest rates under 11 years ago before keating were higher then they are now...how long is this argument good for. Interest rates un frazer when howard was treasurer were higher than the keating and hawke govts...are we allowed to go back that far. Yes interest rates all over the world 20 years ago were high...like interest rates all over the world are low. NZ is the standout with the highest in the western world...we are not far behind them now.
