at 5"10 and 298 lbs, Arcidi was the first to officially bench press 700 lbs with a 705.5 lb bench..... he had the world record 705 bench press and the world record behind neck press of 405 lbs x 1 at one time.. he has officially bench pressed around 740 lbs

Ken Lain:
at 5"10 and 297 lbs, Lain was the 2nd to get over 700 in the bench press with a 708....that broke Ted Arcidi's record, but was one world record official missing, so it was an American record, Lain, Arcidi and Clark has been battling for the Record for awile...his best is around 740 lbs.. unlike Arcidi who is only a bench presser, Lain could squat over 850 lbs...and has a good physique that many bodybuilders would love to have..

I was amused at his efforts as a pro wrestler, that's all.... "the world's stongest man" in his WWF days....... well done Vmonster, only one who has mentioned they have heard of him......
