As an Operational Update it seems good to me and that the flow back is ongoing.


• Currently flowing back naturally on 4/64 choke at ~70 barrels per day frac fluid = GOOD.

Frac Juice still flowing back under natural pressure. The formation pressure is expelling the frac juice and once sufficient juice has been expelled from the nanopores, the process of desorption of liquids rich hydrocarbon gas can commence, which should see an increase in formation pressure as a result of the gas being liberated from the nanopores.


• Minor hydrocarbon indications via formation of gas hydrates within the choke manifold = NEUTRAL.

Likely a few bubbles of gas that have flowed back with the Frac Juice and condensed in the manifold. Need the formation pressure to expel the Frac Juice and push the 11,000 foot column of juice in the vertical well out before hydrocarbons flow freely.


• Pressure data analysis indicates limited connection to the reservoir prior to last 24 hours
Icewine#2 Operations Update = GOOD

Saying that the reservoir has now been connected to the well for the last 24hrs. We need that observed pressure kick to be maintained now and increase more. That will indicate that the imbibition has worked and the liquids are now travelling from the formation and being expelled from the nanopores. Pressure and volume of hydrocarbon liquids needs to build to a point where it overcomes the vertical hydrostatic pressure of the frac juice in well bore and then starts to flow freely at whatever rate it is able to.


So all in all its a good update and clearly we are still early in the process. Might be another 2-4 weeks before we know if natural flowback has been maintained or whether they will have to swab or do something else.

Very encouraging IMO
