IF investors want to buy this as see it as 'cheap' then they will buy it. IF the buying pressure is not strong enough then the sellers will bring it down.

Seriously - the conspiracy theories here are absurd.

An institutional client that I deal with (a different stock) was selling his holding over the past few weeks. He had a large holding of a small cap Australia stock. After about 2 weeks of selling, he told me he would stop selling for a while, and let 'the hotcopper newbs bring it back up 20%' - within 3 days the stock bounced close to 20% and he will soon start selling it to them again.

That is NOT manipulation - that is managing selling volumes that the market can cope with.

What makes it even more evident that conspiracies running wild on these threads are ridiculous - but widely known - is the fact that this institutional investor is not even located in Australia, and is not from Australia.

bring on the comments about me not understanding the markets, but at the end of the day a stock trades where the supply/demand puts it. If no demand then prices go down, and if high demand then prices go up....

I like and hold this stock, but until institutional investors want to own it the volatility will continue and any sizeable sellers will keep the price low.
