Klaxon, I'm like you, I don't pay much attention to market depth other than what is within 2 or 3 lines. It is very difficult to ascertain what the motives are for decent orders away from that range. The only thing I will say is that for stocks I follow very closely I do take notice of significant CHANGES in market depth totals on buy and sell sides. But if I find it sitting at .1 of a cent I would typically ignore it. I don't really see the point of it. There is no way it could trick anyone into buying or selling imo and if it does, does people shouldn't be trading the stock market. All imo of course.
