Nothing new isn't a fair assessment. This is the first time a voice call has ever been made over nano-satellite. Additionally, they demonstrated IP connectivity via a local WIFI network hooked up to a rooftop receiver.
Perhaps the price won't be dramatically influenced, but this is a very noteworthy development. I still think the price won't significantly change until new paying customers are sending SAS cash. I also think it won't really increase until they get some financing in place for the actual network of 200 sats, not just the three tests.
What they have now is some entirely unique and unprecedented technology which the market puts at AU$129m. That's a pretty hefty price for a technology with no revenue. We're not far off from this going gangbusters, though. Just need that financing and paying customers.
