I thought people can already make phone calls and send messages by satellites? I mean speedcast already catering for internet in remote areas, oil rigs, cruise ships, etc....so what is so special about sky and space global in the grand scheme of things? How are they going to generate money in the end? Who would be their customers? Goat farmers in the mountains? Villagers? Pretty sure they are too poor to afford normal quota and internet connections let alone those connected via satellites. People in the equator are mostly poor, for example indonesia and how shallow the penetration there.

I am confused here...
