    Are you sure, becareful what you wish for.... there are a number of issues yet to be covered by the SAS army of blind followers. They have still yet to tackle the issue of licence fees for 200 nanos and the revenue is still way off the carry cost of the infrastructure. This then leads to the obvious next question as to how much bandwidth can a nano actually handle and i didn't see a mention of latency on the data transactions, which is a big factor.

    There also seems to be some confusion from outsiders and insiders, I read an article that raved about SAS as it was going to handle all the low data transactions.. stuff like credit card transactions and machine to machine links. But the other side was talking about phone calls and sms. It appears the later is correct however if the answer is both we come full circle back to the bandwidth question.

    Overwhelmingly, the concern is that if SAS manages to generate a market in the 3rd world for telecommunications, assuming that telecommunications is the only hinderance to the development of these economies, then about .04 of a second later they'll run fiber cables and the satellite game is up.
