Hi Tokyo and others Hard to find anything much in Tokyo for 150k but I am in Japan now about 150km north of Tokyo and just bought a small apartment for 9.4 M Yen this apartment sold for 35M Yen 13 years ago now it would rent at about 9% gross yield I don't think I could find something like this at this price in a city in Oz these days!!! and interest rates here are only about 3% - but you can't get a loan! Regards Ross PS In 5 years I think my IGO/SDI/ION and NOBG/STC shares will buy me a very nice apartment on the Gold Coast mind you every time I do the analysis, it's better to rent a decent place for a holiday and stay invested in shares. Here in Japan was the only time the calculation worked the other way!
