Tokyo, you're full of bull! So I'll give you another 170k if you can buy something like what we, in OZ call apartment, or flat, even (complete with all facilities) for that price anywhere within Tokyo. Perhaps a bit (quite a bit) out, like Tacao, Hachioji and Hachioji chi, you just might find something (normally occuppied by cockcroaches) but anything less than, say A$500k will be bloody near impossible to find. Perhaps next to the airport, somewhere.
