What about buying some instalment warrants say with a delta of 95 rather than the stock?
I’d love to buy BHP on a PE below 10x. That’s a price of $28.40 on consensus numbers and $35 on Southern Cross Equities numbers. Somewhere in the middle. $30 would be nice. I’d be lucky, but that’s the sort of process you need to go through. Focus on getting stocks at a price you like – forget trying to pick the market. Play the balls now.
