One of my key rules:

Don't ever buy a down trending stock. Period.

Buy only stocks that are up trending and look for entry on back tested breaks through identified channels.

Trends are tough to break so why buy a down trending one in hope of it turning?..

Know your exit strategy and execute like a robot. Take the emotion out of the game.

That's your licence to print money.

Know where support and resistance are. Learn technical analysis and employ it rigorously.

It's sometimes harder done than said but it works.

The stock in my signature just broke a long downtrend. What direction do you think it might take now?..
