@wombat777 I don't think these stones had as much as impact on the final average as you might think. On top of this the last auction showed a major rise in demand (and prices) for high quality rubies. It has taken time for the buyers to understand the auction process and come fully on board with it, but MUS should now reap the benefit of this familiarity.

When we combine all of this with the good timing (if you could only have one auction a year you would have it in October) together with the interest of the buyers in seeing another supplier in the market, I think we will see a good premium compared to GEM.

I would like to propose that the person that gets closest to the final price buys us all drinks on All Saints Day
