The left sure doesn't use stats - as in less than 2% of priests have been involved in this dreadful behaviour. Instead, let's criticise the entire Roman Catholic Church, the heirarchy, together with every member of their congregation. Yes, they all must be the same. Most thinking people see right through this nonsense. Many posters here are not even aware that there are other Christian churches.
Perhaps they have never learned of the Reformation..... (What do I mean "perhaps"? Of course, they haven't. Easier just to rave on in their ignorance and aggressiveness. Lump them altogether.)

Those who want churches to pay taxes or fold, never acknowledge that this will lead to an increase in Welfare expenditure in the budget/decline in the living standards of many in need of care and money, as churches direct much of their money to organisations/groups/individuals who benefit, to say nothing about the contribution to society which church volunteers make on a daily basis. Such contributions go unobserved by the rabid left either due to ignorance but largely due to their prejudices and desire to knock such institutions - the institutions which form the very basis upon which our society was built. Without them, you reckon our world will be improved? No evidence of that to date, indeed the reverse is far more likely.
