Hi gonewest, welcome aboard ..i am quite comfortable with those options.
The owner of the option will have to pay the company 25c per share to exercise their option turning it into a share.
So this brings money in for the dilution, and also incentivives the holder to get the sp above that of the option strike price so they buy at a then discount...hence performance related.
They can of coursepay the 25c even if the sp is lower. ...but this is very unlikely.
Or the sp stays here , option expires no dilution.
Unlike avls performance related shares our are tied to an improving share price, so benefit all holders.
Whilst theirs are tied to a non core asset so only benefit management ...much to the chagrin of holders there.
