AVZ (ASX) Ann: Update on timing of results from remaining drill holes

Forget the logic, forget the charts, forget the sentiment ………… AVZ to hit $1 soon thanks to hype.

Everyone is speculating what the AVZ SP will climb to after the first and second ANN’s are released. There is also as much speculation on what a fair price per share would be for a TO. Whether you are an expert in deciphering stock charts, or think you are on a winner with AVZ simply because you believe everything you read about the predicted size of the resource and what that values the Company at, doesn’t really matter. AVZ is a speculative stock and like most speculative stocks we invest hoping to pocket a Disallowed. We also know that with any speculative stock we risk losing our hard earned money.

We had a dinner party at home last night. My wife invited 6 of the ladies from her zumba class with their husbands. I had never met any of them prior to last night. After dinner and copious bottles of champagne, white & red wine, the women went to the Zen room to chat and the men congregated at the bar. One of the guys started talking about his share portfolio. It didn’t take long to ascertain 5 of the 6 guys were regular share traders and being half tanked, they were more than happy to tell each other their strategies and how much they made/lost on particular shares.

To cut a long story short, after listening to 4 of them beat their chests for half an hour or so, the quietest guy asked if anyone has heard of AVZ (I was hoping one of them would bring this up). He said he invested $90,000 early in 2016 (10,000,000 shares at 0.009). One of the others questioned why he would dish out $90k on a speculative stock and asked him how much his investment is worth now………….well the bar went silent for a while. “So have you sold them?” “I sold 1mil shares at 15 cents and still hold the rest” He then continued with his version of the AVZ lithium story and finished on what he believes will be in the next 2 ANN’s and what he expected the SP to be.

When they all laughed at him, he went on to tell them that he also bought shares in SCU in 2016 for 0.013. These shares were going nowhere, however after an ANN on 14 March 2017 they skyrocketed to $1.085 (albeit for a very short time). He was lucky enough to sell his holding for just over $1. SCU is now worth 4 cents. The SP was all because of market hype as SCU had nothing.

AVZ on the other hand has a massive real resource to cause market hype, so his prediction is that AVZ SP will hit $1 within 30 days.

Whether you believe this will happen or not, doesn’t matter. However there is no reason why this guy’s thoughts are more speculative or incorrect than most other posts on HC, hence why I started this post with HERE'S ONE FROM LEFT FIELD
