Here is what is contained in the Marriage Act 1961 and amended...

marriage means the union of a man and a woman to the exclusion of all others, voluntarily entered into for life.

So we see that replaced with what....The union of "two people"????? Which really just trashes the whole concept of a marriage. If this get over the line I just feel so damned sorry for the children who have no say at all and just have to suck it up that they will be deprived of a balanced upbringing of a mum and a dad....

...This must be a massive problem for many Churches...the Bible as we know condemns homosexuality, Religions are based on the teachings of the Bible...so if a couple of blokes want to get "married" in their chosen say Catholic Church, does the resident Priest just ignore the Bible's teachings on which their religion is based?  Or does he decline to "marry" the gays and end up being sued for discrimination?
