They where bought in for political reasons rather than assisting the Hellenic troops which they did when germany entered Russia and the height of the war was about over. I'm sure the Hellenic people thank the whole three regiments that were bought in and were more of a hinderance rather than assistance. Germany was very rough and approximately 100,000 lives were lost half were jewish. So, all the same thanks for the Britts for coming into help when the war was over. Cheers.

The battle of Marathon led by Miltiades in 490 BC is the most significant battle in Europas history where if the Greeks not have won that battle, Europa would have come under control of the Persians and all subsequent culture that you enjoy today and accomplishments would probably not have taken the form they did.
In other words. Europa would be ruled by Persians and you would now be praising Allah.
