    So you say that you need a state to enforce the "free market." There is no such thing as a free market, just as Marx showed. There are only antagonistic classes, and the state exists to the extent that these antagonistic classes are irreconcilable. We need to get behind what is hidden by the veil of the market. And what of this moronic deferred consumption claim? Did Pinochet calculate the deferred consumption of land and oil reserves before handing these resources over to the abstaining capitalists? Can you imagine trying to explain this story before a revolutionary tribunal?
