Yes, this is reason why I keep saying invest in coal. India needs heaps. I have been asked in the past to help Coal India but they did not like being told that they were f#$k&d in the head.
They will continue to ramp up imports from Australia and Indonesia. Incidentally India is very interested in coking coal from Central Kalimantan. Cokal can meet the requirements to meet the Indian classification for Prime Hard Coking coal. I did a lot of work on that over 4 year project in Indonesia.
