Also, didn't BlackRock advise Martin Rowley to reduce the risk associated with the dual development of James Bay and Sal de Vida? I recall this from one of the summaries posted after the AGM.
I think there could be something deeper here as to why BlackRock is invested in GXY and NMX. There would have to be a reason why they became the top holder in one large purchase when they didn't own many (if any) shares prior.
A GXY - NMX alliance would certainly put a pause to a monopoly. The listing could also be handled by BlackRock at a later date. Or maybe BlackRock is acting on behalf of the end consumer.
I suppose we will find it soon enough.
