Given that the vote is not compulsory, the result will only be the status of a survey and carry no more weight than what the government wants to give it, I doubt if it is worth ten cents. Although Turnbull reckons if it is YES there will be a bill put before the house, there is still no outcome predictable. Then they can all squabble among themselves as to who said yes and who said no.

Stop changing the dictionary!!! I want the rainbow back and also gay. They can keep 'queer' instead the word which they first thought of. I can't see where there is "equality" forcing employees to wear "rainbow" badges when working but Marriage Certificates to queers don't display their "rainbows". How is that "equal".

Less than 2% of the population (the tail) wagging the 98% (the dog). Can't put the geni back into the bottle and once on that slide, there is no going back.

    Vote No.

"The greatest good for the greatest number" (Jeremy Bentham, father of Utilitarianism). The consequences will continue further and further over time and many good people will suffer for their attitudes, views, and beliefs. And why??? Not just for gays to be "equal" because they get a "certificate", but because NO voters are not given the opportunity to be thinkers as were the philosophers of old. The greatest harm will be to the majority whose liberties will increasingly be stripped away and mind-control will reign. The rabid lefties will be all that is left......... Think folks, that is all that is required. Research.
