Seriously - you champion the stock on these threads but can't even explain why you don't hold? I think readers on this forum deserve to know why.
You never have explained - don't profess otherwise. Simply, you have no plausible explanation. People who you believe you influence ought to have great scepticism.
At least others who are optimistic about this stock post sincerely and have their money precisely where their mouths are.
In answer to your questions (to Scouse):
1) why would someone have been listen to your advise and missed out on minimum 6+ lucrative buying opportunities (peaks) during above mentioned period?
Firstly, you are talking trading opportunities. The true believers of this stock - supposedly you included - are in it for the long-term fundamentals from where the company sits TODAY. I believe fundamentals are calamitously poor today.
But hey, I'll take you up on the "lucrative buying opportunities" you cite.
Each of these spikes was when SmartTrans made a fantastic announcement that, on the surface, sounded stupendous.
MOU with China Mobile? WOW! Biggest Telco in the world! We're all gonna be rich! Guess what? It came to nothing. Price sinks.
What? VODOne Lotteries? Wow!! Chinese people love to gamble and look how many people there are in China! We're all gonna be rich!!! Came to nothing, price subsided.
Bitcoin - the next big thing! What? We're making a heap of money off it? Woohooooooo! Better stake up before this baby takes off! Guess what? Price subsided when the market realised bitcoin wouldn't sustain a business model that had to phoenix into something else just to survive.
The biggest spike came when SMA genuinely started to make a heap of money. Toot toot!! All aboard the gravy train, this is it, we're all gonna be rich!!! I believed that too when I was invested with 5m shares. It climbed to 7.1c, I sold a decent chunk in the high 6's just to consolidate and guess what? It became very apparent there's no point making $1m a month if it's costing you$2m a month to attain that revenue. So I sold all my shares by the time it slipped into the 3's and guess what? The rest of the market sold its shares when it was stinkingly obvious this company's new business model was failing again and it couldn't earn what it was spending.
Looking for fewer sales now but higher margins? Yeah right. I'm sure that's not just a spun excuse for yet more failings. It's a deliberate strategy!
And now we have a new business model yet again and a CEO who was there from the beginning but has returned home from China a defeated man. Logistics is gone and now even the great white hope - Lotteries version 2.0 - isn't even whispered on these threads anymore.
The new model deals only with fringe Australian goods - limited market - yet competing against Goliaths offering the same thing.
With close to 3,000,000,000 shares on the registry and a share price at a tick over half a cent, and a relentless history of failure to deliver, and yet another new (and untested) business model, and massive expenditure and losses remaining - how much money do you think SMA will be able to raise the next time it's on its knees just to remain afloat?
So the short answer to your question is - I'm not expecting any more spikes again. As I have said before, I believe this company gave its best shot and is now sinking.
2) Also, if a new investors (including traders) should take your advise seriously, perhaps you can elaborate on why profitability doesn't apply to any of the other shares you have acquired during the past many years?
As explained above, a history of profitability is far from the only determinant to a company's success. SMA has many, many failings - a lack of ability to even come close to profitability is just one of them.
I own a couple of stocks that are yet to be profitable, but one in particular ticks many boxes SMA doesn't, has already achieved what SMA can't, has monstrously strong fundamentals, very small cashburn and I have no doubt will succeed - in spite of the fact it's not yet profitable.
I hope this answers your questions, Lucky. Just hoping you can tell us all here why you won't even invest a shekel at the bargain basement price of half a cent, when you profess such a profound belief in SmartTrans' eventual success...........
