Very simply really. Heterosexuals constitute more than 95% of the total adult population and consequently, there will be greater in measured numbers of them pursuing their aims than homosexuals.

It is whether they reflect the proportions in the population at large or whether those homos are overrepresented in their quest for partners. Very easy to guess the correct answer on that one, lol

Absolute numbers are not relevant. Ho hum.
