Fair enough VLF - Very difficult to locate and lock in this sort of money. But tell me then, why, back in January shortly after mining permit approval were people on this thread saying 'finance in 6 weeks and construction to commence this northern summer'?

Maybe people... was it we - did I say this lol, thought naively, that once approved, NFC would flick the financing switch on and start fabricating. Clearly it was never going to be that simple. The project had to be thoroughly re-costed and there are hoops that NFC have to jump through internally (recent site played a part) as well as satisfy financiers and government agencies.

I recall JD advising around this time last year, that unless the Greenland authorities approved soon, the 2017 construction start window would close... and it did. So smack me if I was one of those expecting construction to start in 2017, as recently as this year. I'd be surprised, but you've surprised me before
