Could be the rumour that someone started on one of the forums about CBS looking for a regional broadcaster if they end up owning channel Ten!
Not quite sure how it would work out for them short term with Prime already having affiliation agreements with channel 7 until June 2019.
Between Prime, Southern Cross and WIN, Prime Media is probably the easiest target though. Not sure what Bruce Gordon would sell his Win Corporation for but considering he spent $55 million recently just to buy NRN in Northern NSW his asking price would be way above the current market cap of PRT. Southern Cross with a market cap of around $1 billion is also on the pricey side.
It seems that rumours are beginning to fly thick and fast, the latest one I read yesterday was about Fairfax wanting to do a deal with SWM which SWM denied. I wouldn't be surprised to see a pick up in traders wanting to trade the volatility that's starting to appear.
