I have been trying to get a bit more of an idea of the scale of this tender. I don't know if this is any help but the following are the number of inpatients (excludes outpatients} treated by the various hospitals for the 2015/16 financial year -
Beaudesert - 3,171
Logan - 75,303
PA - 110,226
QEll - 31,379
Redland - 31,016
TOTAL - 251,095
This compares with Royal Adelaide numbers of inpatients of 85,000 per annum.
The tender has still not been awarded so it is a waiting game.
