I agree todays reaction was way over the top. I expected this to take a few weeks for a total 250 point gain - and having gone up so fast is almost certain to come back down tomorrow, at least part of the way, maybe 50 points.
Looking back over the past 20 years the upswing after a rapid fall has usually happened over a few weeks and where a rapid gain has occurred in one day there has almost always been a small pullback the next day, though only about a quarter of the size of the upward movement, and never has such a big gain been lost immediately. Not saying this carries any weight but it does point to another strong gain wednesday after small retrace tomorrow to consolidate.
