fessed up to buying a bank share (ANZ) for the first time evrer the other week!
This week is the perfect time to do what is called 'buy and rights" on blue chip resource stocks. You buy the stock and sell calls against that position. Do not try this without a good broker as positions change quickly day to day and you need to be 'serviced'.
Moving away from the blue chip arena, may consider something like Barra in a couple of weeks time. The ground they are drilling is potentially high grade but visually obvious. When/if consistent buying support comes in (who says drillers don't buy stock?LOL) maybe worth a punt. Currently do not have any.
