Subject to your excitement of hoping for myer's downfall, I presume you're a shorter? I see other investors in the forum analyzing Myer logically as they are actual committed shareholders, instead of being a bystander and shooting blanks. To be honest, I do think Myer at current is oversold, shorter are bearing just as much risk as longs. Myer is under a business model transition, not a financial distress, institutional investors don't have to ditch the share in a hurry. When liquidity dries up, shorters will cover their position and price will recorrect. Not saying Myer should sky rocket, but at current its market cap is at a significant discount to its net assets and low multiple comparing to its FCF. Oct and Nov are normally good month for retail business, would never wish to lose an Iconic Aussie retail giant, best of luck Myer.
