Kind of unrelated to this, but I was at a UPS (uninterruptible power supply) workshop on tuesday with a large manufacturer, and Lithium batteries will soon be the standard for these too, for back up power systems. They wont drive demand as much, especially in high pricing as lead-acid can still be used, but Lithium Oxide will be the standard for quality in a few years.
