Not sure if anyone caught the significance of this photo below. I laughed my proverbial off when I saw it.
The AM's in the pic are not weighing DIRT, for goodness sake! No point in weighing dirt or gravels! These are the same AM's in the pic of the bushman jig, and they have already put that through the jig! That bag contains rubies, & they are weighing their find for the day. Zooming in it looks to be exactly 6kgs. We know from the pic of the sorted bags, 100gms = 500cts, so then ...
1kg = 5,000 cts
6kgs = 30,000 cts
Which I see is a double-barrel job, so can process gravels in tandem. At least 5 miners here and they are just smashing it with their new jig. No wonder they are smiling!
So when MUS say the new lease is a "Significant new ruby discovery where Mustang is recovering large gem-quality stones from a shallow deposit– ruby inventory expected to increase significantly" ... they mean it!
You can see now how they added 100,000-odd carats in just over a week recently. I am predicting 500,000 cts by October 27 easily. Whether they take that many to auction is another matter - I doubt it, but WOW! ... Just WOW!
