Big read (how many will plough through it) but mostly just a only theory based idea, as applications placed do not mean built and operating operations, also is aimed at overcoming the big disadvantages and problems of renewable power supplies rather than a new efficient power system.
It is a system to provide base power to an otherwise poor generation system and does not address the cost of destroying efficient coal/uranium power stations just so they can build renewable ones.
I go back to my comment --- where are the figures, where are the benefits, where are the reasons other than shoring up a crazy irrational renewable target at ANY COST.
MY views on electric cars have not altered and they are that, ----- we will eventually see electric vehicles as from a manufacturing and engineering point of view they are far more efficient and suitable for much of our transport needs BUT we also need to realize that until a suitable "battery" is developed the manufacturers and the green gods are just doing advertising to boost a poor quality product that does not suit our lifestyle and certainly does nor replace the existing IC vehicles already in use.
