A particular friend purchased at just over a dollar back in late Jan/early Feb. When the fat pill was scrapped he purchased more shares at eleven cents to bring down his buy price. It turned out to be a case of throwing good money after bad, but then if this had turned out differently it would have been fantastic. As I stated before I didn't have much courage after my loss on the fat pill.
I was so shell shocked because I received a tip from a long trusted friend in Adelaide. I mentioned to this person "I have never bought a share in my life". I was told in strong terms "just buy, do it" Obviously I can't go into details where this tip came from but suffice to say when the broker called to tell me the compound was a failure and the programme was scrapped I found it difficult to believe her because I was so confident of the source who gave the information . It was only when I called the Metabolic hotline to hear the recorded message give the unfortunate news that I realized it was all over. I thank my lucky stars it was only 6k. When I saw the price going down prior to the ann, I called the person and asked whether someone knew something we didn't, and was assured all was OK. I have been given a valuable lesson.
The sad part is that this person now avoids me due to embarrassment, but in the end it was my decision to buy. That's the share market. At least I became interested in the market and love the challenge. All the best Jevalent.
