Rivero. That is the multi multi billion dollar question that is THE determinant on funding.

But, that amount is what Icon has got in its negotiations and it is just Stage 2 away from being proven as commercial.

The funding for that Stage 2 is what is needed. Seriously, the answer is very variable between prospective purchasers and I'd be foolish to start putting ANY numbers on a HC forum. Those involved know and I'll leave it to them, but, my point is that the market places no value whatsoever on that and I understand that as this market has completely turned away from ANYTHING that is "prospective" and are only putting their money on when the thing is already past the post.

Just think, 8 years ago (yes, POST GFC) this company went to a market cap of over $300 million based on the prospects of developing and selling gas FROM ATP626!!!!! The company raised $68 million for the drilling programme!!!!
THAT'S how "the market" has changed. Try doing a CR in Australia today.

Have a read of Page 10 of the 2009 AR and check the relevant numbers with what has been announced from ATP855!!

That is what Icon and hundreds of other exploration companies are faced with, how can they get "past the post" unless SOMEONE takes a chance?
Australian consumers and governments are screaming out for gas, but nobody in Australia has the guts to do something about it. There are trillions of cubic feet out there, and in Icon's case, WITH all the infrastructure already in place and all the federal government is doing is threatening the gas suppliers with restrictions which only introduces a sovereign risk factor when explorers are trying to raise funds to do that work that everyone is screaming about.
Australia a sovereign risk with a Liberal Party government????
And they are spending $120 million on an anonymous, voluntary, poll and talking about starting up a space agency.
Fiddling while Rome burns????!!!!
