Two sets of border tariffs would be the issue. There are additional "unofficial" costs involved crossing borders (which I'm sure Bollare cost in) that would raise the overall transport costs. There is also an element of time associated with being stopped at the borders.
Unless the upside to going via Burkina Faso is worth the additional cost and time (or they are forced to i.e. storage issues) I don't think we'll see any change in the transport initially laid out in the SS.
