re: ypsilon- mahathir lashes out at jews- You are quite wrong yip. It's overwhelmingly the Malays who work in the electronics factories. Chinese are dominant in finance and project engineering. I lived there from 90 to 94 and many friends were Chinese so I had an earful of Chinese complaining about the favouritism towards Malays, but Chinese live safely and do well in business so it could be worse. As you know, the offshore Chinese are industrious and materialistic.

Favouritism in welfare to Malays is affirmative action based. Mahathir has spoken out harshly against the Malays wasting the helping hand they have been offered.

That episode with Anwar is a disgusting stain on Mahathir I do agree though.
