The bet is the revenue and some of the plays BIG put in place will manifest. In terms of the question on management remuneration, it isn't terribly high, but not the lowest either. With a company in this stage, I'd like to see a bit less base salary and more incentive based on stock/growth targets, but it is not the worst I've seen.
