A 5 metre deep historical pit (see Figure 1) was located close to the southern most
GPR line (8940715mN, 707561mE). The pit confirms the existence of limonite in the
area, which adds further support to the preliminary GPR interpretation that suggests
the resource extends to the south. The pit has been mapped and sampled with
results expected in September.
