Significant Results from Major Logging Programme – Mineralised Area 3
• Results received from down hole gamma logging of 203 drill holes (total 4,238 metres)
over 3.5 sq. km (Mineralised Area 3).
• Logging reported significant shallow intercepts including.
5.80 metres averaging 1,444ppm eU3O8 (19.12-24.92 metres)
13.20 metres averaging 529ppm eU3O8 (0.31-13.51 metres)
9.10 metres averaging 893ppm eU3O8 (13.9-23.00 metres)
6.00 metres averaging 567ppm eU3O8 (0.18-6.18 metres)
3.20 metres averaging 1,582ppm eU3O8 (5.92-9.12 metres)
(eU3O8 refers to the equivalent U3O8 grade estimated from gamma logging)
• Recent drilling and logging has provided confidence in the historic data generated by Gold
Fields of South Africa and used in their estimation of a resource in 1983.
• Results indicate mineralisation is open with potential east and south of Mineralised Area 3.
• Further results from on going logging over other areas to be announced shortly.
• Initial (JORC) resource estimate scheduled for reporting final quarter 2007.

MARENICA URANIUM PROJECT - NAMIBIA
Significant Results from Major Downhole Logging Programme – Mineralised Area 3
West Australian Metals Ltd (WME) is pleased to announce results of a major down hole gamma
logging programme of historic drill holes conducted over Mineralised Area 3 at its Marenica Uranium
Project, Namibia (Figure 1). The logging has confirmed shallow mineralisation over a 3.5 sq km area
with very encouraging intercepts reported in some holes. Mineralised Area 3 is one of four principal
mineralised areas identified by Gold Fields of South Africa by drilling programmes conducted
between the late 1970’s and early 1980’s.
Announcement of further logging results from other areas is expected shortly with an initial (JORC)
resource estimate scheduled for reporting in the final quarter of 2007.
Significant equivalent uranium intervals from Mineralised Area 3 include:
Hole SP1485 5.80 metres averaging 1,444ppm eU3O8 (19.12-24.92 metres)
Hole SP1648 13.20 metres averaging 529ppm eU3O8 (0.31-13.51 metres)
Hole SP1652 9.10 metres averaging 893ppm eU3O8 (13.9-23.00 metres)
Hole M0527 6.00 metres averaging 567ppm eU3O8 (0.18-6.18 metres)
Hole SP2726 3.20 metres averaging 1,582ppm eU3O8 (5.92-9.12 metres).
All of the above holes also reported additional intervals averaging above 100ppm eU3O8.
Table 1 lists all intervals above 100ppm eU3O8 for holes logged in Mineralised Area 3 with collar
locations of holes logged shown in Figure 2.
The company had no prior results from these holes which were been
