4. CHANNEL SAMPLING

This method can be used in the sedimentcontained in the surface and also in anunderground mine. For shallow sediments, this method is used in a test well. Groove (channel)is made on the side of the test wells. At ahydrothermal sediment mined by underground mining systems, channels made from hangingwall to foot wall.

Application of existing methods must beaccompanied by an appropriate design. Someexamples of chip sampling and channelsampling in the field application are as follows:
