Nailed it? What have they done? It's just a concept at this stage. I've actually heard this exact concept a number of times over the last couple of years... but it's not easy to execute at all. The earlier poster who said it was a huge ask was right. You need to get loads of users on board to attract businesses (who incidentally don't have social media people unless they are very large)... and you need businesses on board to get the users. Consumers won't be happy with geochat and thread. It's the augmented reality they will sign up for... and if they do and look through the phone and see no action then they will dump the app just as quickly. It's a very difficult balancing act with an incredibly tiny window to execute which needs a superb product and amazing marketing. Both of which need huge money to get right. The easiest thing to do here is get daydreaming shareholders on board with pretty slide decks that point out something that clearly would be awesome if it got up and running. But doing it is entirely another problem. Good luck...
