Rick Rule, the CEO of Sprott U.S.HOLDINGS, who are a backing Kirkland, recently said that there is no shortage of Lithium in the world. He said the four major Lithium producers collectively have 100 years of reserves. What we have is a shortage of Lithium processing capacity.He said that those companies who purport to be looking for Lithium, ie those who don’t have any Lithium, believe that there is a Lithium shortage, and those companies who do have it believe there is a surplus. He said you need to decide yourself who is more credible, those who have it or those who don’t.

He goes on to say that cobalt is the real metal that is in short supply.
