housing affordability crisis worsens, page-81

Here we go again ! ..And while all are waiting for entry points the market keeps rising . If you think for a minute there is going to be some form of housing crash , seriously think again ..Its never going to happen .

CBD hotspots have been " on fire " ..all around Australia . Isolated areas close to CBD s . Outlying areas have been solid but have not shown great growth over the last 4 years . The rental market is tight , but yields are still not great by any means . Intrest rates will struggle to go much higher despite many wishing to talk them up .

Certainly I know my properties ( I do new homes only ) on the outer edges of Melbourne have not changed much in the last 3 years . Land supply is tight and will remain so , no matter what land is released . Investors have moved back in but not in great numbers .

Like my friends in Brighton ..who now live in Carnegie , never kid yourself you will pick ..tops , bottoms ect . Its pretty simple you will end up doing nothing .

Like some here , who think they are equities experts ..yet you wonder if they have ever owned a stock . And for me I much prefer equities ..but I have always owned houses also . Property is a great backbone for anyone wishing to build long term Wealth .

The alternative is to talk about doing something.
