the future

For any of us who have worked for BHP or it's subsiduaries, could you imagine what these shares could be worth if the Company was run properly, where decision makers came down to the coalface & learnt first hand what the problems are. Reducing levels of management, giving more merit to the people who have worked their way through levels instead of puting fresh graduates in charge with heaps of qualifications but most missing common sense & a feel for what's happening in the practical world. Repeating procedures again & again that have been proven before they won't work when a new head is appointed to a sectilon.
I doubt if there is anyone who has worked for BHP either directly or on a subby basis that couldn't tell you of incredible wastage & some philosyphies beyond belief.
There are far too many chiefs but the indians are scarce & seem to be becoming scarcer, run properly I 'd hate to think what this powerhouse could be worth.
