Just to take you up on the nature of 'science':

"It's not true in science, for example. In science, you have to have the right answer and the right reasoning -- or no banana."

It wasn't that long ago that scientists held that the world is flat (deduced from the 'fact' that boats heading west from the old world weren't returning ie they were falling off the edge of the flat earth)
or
that the atom was the smallest building block
& so on

Science is only ever a work in progress with the current 'truth' being merely the extent of curent knowledge & or technology
