    Grow Rich,thks for the updates.
What I don't understand with telstra is it has identified a major sector with serious supply issues.
Its a infrastructure sector that fits within tls business model where it is a win win for tls no matter relatively how much capex they invest ie they invest $1b they will reduce electricity costs and increase profits, they invest beyond $1b they increase revenue and profit.
So the obvious question imo is as per article y not make a 20 year agreement with govt and build a 'helecoal' plant (some excellent details provided by an earlier poster where other advanced economies r donig this) in order to provide material base load electricity generation and a material contribution to revenue and eps ,while developing solar.
The turnbull govt imo would agree going by their comments regarding the closure of old coal power plants in vic and nsw etc.
Same NAS,ie buy OML etc while developing the NAS 5g businesses.

Imo its not rocket science just basic business sense and extremely frustrating considering tls already has the leading mobile network.
ps excellent post Neil,I wish some posters would read yr technical posts re 5g along with Ash's.
