Ahhh now you take me back to the early days when it was common to find a 1000G trout lurking at various depths close to the surface, and I used to catch them on a 2.9 or 3kg line. Those days appear to be gone.
I expect though if you use the right line you can entice more out of their holes, as you suggest Dartboard.
I believe that there may be a competition starting soon, so it's just as well a few of us have some experience under the belt already.
Either way, it's a beautiful day for it.
